Who We Are

Kathryn and Kenneth Cloke, both secondary school teachers, had worked in India and Pakistan with Operation Mobilisation, and always felt they would return to some form of relief work.

In 1998 they went to Romania and felt the call to work there. Whilst not a third world country, it has pockets of third world conditions, particularly among the gypsy community and street children.

Although Kathryn and Kenneth started out working under the auspices of a church-based charity, they are now independent workers. They and their children work in very challenging and emotionally demanding circumstances.
